As a study on Korean Irregular verbs, this thesis aims at providing foreigners who are learning the Korean language with a “table of irregular verbs” as a roadmap for an effective teaching on irregular verbs in Korean. Learning how to correct irregular verbs is one of the fundamentals in speaking Korean fluently and is very frequently used, and is therefore often taught in the beginning stage of learning Korean. However, the problem remains that the irregular verbs itself is not an easy task; understanding the vocabulary that is used in explaining the regular and irregular verbs forms is left completely to the learners themselves. This study examines a variety of issues discussed on irregular verbs in both linguistic and pedagogical contexts, based on which an analysis is made on the textbooks and dictionaries used by Korean learners. Based on this premise, the study decides on the extent and types of verbs, establishes accordingly a range of stem words and endings suitable for beginner Korean learners, and ultimately provides them with a helpful “table of irregular verbs”, which reflects on the conjugation of verbs applicable to beginner learners, and is therefore expected to be of help in teaching and learning verbs in Korean. ，韩语论文，韩语论文范文 |
