The purpose of this study is to find out what is the difference between the two languages on the past situation and find out some effective teaching methods for the Chinese learners. Time expression of Korean language is composed of three grammatical categories such as tense, aspect, and mood. As the three categories are entangled each other as complex, it is one of difficult grammatical categories for many foreign learners including Chinese learners. Also, Chinese learners are particularly having a hard time with learning time expression in Korean language due to the linguistic difference between Korean and Chinese. Thus, it is necessary to study on the educational methods to teach time expression in Korean to Chinese learners.
This study is to find out what is the difference between the two languages on the past situation and presenting the exact correspondence then, Using the Original and the chinese version of Shin Kyung-sook 『Please Look After Mom』 This article elucidates the characteristic of past situation in Korean and Chinese form Tense and Aspect, indicates the correspondence and analyzes the contact and distinction by citing the past situation then, using the Original and the chinese version of Shin Kyung-sook 『Please Look After Mom』 find out some effective teaching methods for the Chinese learners.
This study is using "Please Look After Mom" of on the Corresponding aspects to the two languages on the past situation but the actual Chinese past situation expression is not only this. In the case of Chinese normal time in the past situation morpheme that shows the idea because it does not use the past situation sentence listener or reader to understand themselves. Report this part is not present in the lot. This study still leaving the process of getting verified verfied on whether it is really effective for the students or not. Given the current situation of the growing number of Chinese learners, the study is expected to help them learn Korean past situation expression more effectively.

이 논문의 목적은 한국어와 중국어 과거 시간 표현의 차이를 분석하고 중국인 학습자를 위해 효과적인 한국어 과거 시간 표현의 교육 방안을 연구하는데 있다. 한국어의 시간 표현은 한 가지 개념으로 시간을 나타내는 문법요소들을 설명하기는 어려워서 문법 범주의 시제, 상, 양태, 서법과 시간사 등의 어휘적인 면을 포함하여 설명한다. 한국어와 중국어 두 언어의 차이로 인해 중국인 학습자가 한국어 시간 표현을 학습 할 때 어려움을 많이 겪고 있다. 그러므로 중국어 학습자를 위한 효과적인 한국어 시간 표현을 가르치는 교육 방법에 관한 연구 할 필요가 있다.
이 논문은 한국어의 과거 시간 표현과 중국어의 과거 시간 표현을 대비하여 양국어간의 과거 시간 표현의 대응관계를 정확히 제시한 후, 신경숙 『엄마를 부탁해』원문 및 중역본에서 나타난 한국어 과거 시간 표현의 실상을 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 중국인 학습자를 위한 한국어 과거 시간 표현의 교육 방안을 모색하였다.
이 연구에서는 소설『엄마를 부탁해』를 근거하여 정리한 한·중 과거 시간 표현의 대응 양상에는 실제 중국어에서 사용하는 과거 시간 표현은 이뿐만이 아니다. 중국어의 경우에는 통상의 과거시제문에서 시간관념을 표시하는 형태소를 사용하지 않기 때문에 청자 혹은 독자가 스스로 과거형 문장으로 이해하여야 한다. 이 부분을 보고에서는 많이 제시하지 않아다. 의미 제시 단계에서 소설의 문장과 줄거리를 결합한 교육 방안을 실제 수업에 적용하지 못했기 때문에 실제 학습에 얼마나 도움이 되는지 확인하지 못하여 검증되는 절차를 남겨 두고 있다. 그러나 이 연구를 통해 중국인 학습자들이 한국어 과거 시간 표현을 학습할 때 도움이 되기를 기대한다.
