In summary, the result of this study are as follows: First, there are four categories of motivation on Chinese Students’ reception of K-Pop such as ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’, ‘Mental Relaxation’, ‘the Liking Principle’ and ‘Generalized Cultural Proximity’. The pattern of reception are made by the amount of reception, the activeness of reception and the preference type of reception. And Chinese students’ adaptive capacity to the Korean culture are concluded as ‘Intimacy from Korean’ and ‘Attachment to Korea’.
Second, the factors of ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’ , ‘Mental Relaxation’ and the factor of ‘Attachment to Korea’ affected the amount of reception. This study also verifies the co-relationship between the factors of ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’, ‘Mental Relaxation’ and the preference type of reception, and the co-relationship between the factors of ‘Intimacy from Korean’, ‘Attachment to Korea’ and the preference type of reception. In term of the activeness of reception, the factors of ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’ and ‘Attachment to Korea’ affected the activeness of reception before the reception, the activeness of reception during the reception was affected by the factors such as ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’, ‘Mental Relaxation’, ‘the Liking Principle’ and ‘Attachment to Korea’, and the activeness of reception after the reception was influenced by the factors of ‘K-Pop Star’s Charisma’, ‘the Liking Principle’ and ‘Generalized Cultural Proximity’.
Based on the results of this study, we can thus conclude that companies in concerned area should pay more attention on K-Pop stars and make use of them positively. While making K-Pop contents, it’s a wise choice for them to take Chinese students’ characteristics into consideration, who are the main foreign consumers of K-Pop in Korea, and that will help the formation of emotional sympathy of Chinese students in Korea, and as a result without no doubt, will create more benefits in all aspects. Last but not least, efforts should be made to improve the “Korean Wave” and the Korea’s global image because of the power of the principle of liking which cannot be neglected.
