1992년8월24일, 중한 간의 외교 관계가 수립된 이래 두 나라는 밀접한 관계를 유지해 왔다. 또한 중국은 아세아 지역에서의 한국과의 무역 파트너로서 경제의 발전을 추구해 왔다. 무역 협력이 날로 활발해 짐과 더불어 문제점도 나타났는데 바로 언어의 장애이다. 언어의 소통이 정확하게 이루어져야 보다 좋은 협력과 발전이 이루어질 수 있다.
그래서 한국어를 배우려는 중국인들의 학습 열정이 많은 관심을 모으고 있다. 중국의 많은 대학부설에서 한국어 전공을 개설하고 있으며 한국어를 가르치는 어학원도 많아지고 있다. 한국으로 유학 오는 중국 학생수도 많아지고 있다. 지금까지 중국 재한 유학생은 약 6만여 명을 넘고 있다. 따라서 중국학습자들이 한국어를 효과적으로 배울 수 있도록 한국어 교육을 위한 교재, 부교재, 한국어 교육 개발 등 연구도 많이 나타나고 있다. 학생들이 한국어의 중요성을 인식하게 되면서 한국어로 의사소통할 수 있는 능력이 절실히 필요해졌기 때문이다.
대중매체는 많은 사람에게 정보를 전달할 수 있는 수단이기 때문에 현대처럼 정보의 중요성이 강조되는 사회에서 매우 중요하다. 정보화 사회에서는 정보가 중요한 자원이 되기 때문에, 많은 지식과 정보를 가지고 있는 것이 큰 능력이 될 수 있다. 대중매체는 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등의 각 분야에서 일어나는 일에 대한 정보를 많은 사람에게 신속하게 제공한다. 그래서 대중매체를 잘 활용하면 자기가 살고 있는 사회에 대해서 잘 알 수 있다. 어떤 일이 일어났는지, 어떤 유용한 정보가 있는지를 신문이나 텔레비전을 통해서 쉽게 얻을 수 있다. 그러므로 정보를 생산하고 제공하는 것도 중요하고, 대중매체를 통해 많은 정보를 얻는 것 역시 중요하다.
텔레비전 드라마의 한 유형인 시트콤은 실제 상황에서 대화가 자연스럽게 이루어진다는 점과 재미와 흥미를 유발할 수 있다는 점에서 한국어 습득에 도움이 된다. 시트콤을 통해서 최근 한국 사람의 사고방식, 생활모습, 문화 등을 함께 배울 수 있다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 학습자들의 듣기와 말하기 능력을 신장시키기 위한 방안으로 시트콤 <하이킥! 짧은 다리의 역습>을 활용하고자 한다.
또 신문은 현대인에게 필요한 정보를 다양하면서도 유익하게 실시간으로 전달해 주는 정보 매체일 뿐만 아니라 학습자에게 흥미를 가져다 주며 실제 생활과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 게다가 신문에는 경제, 정치, 사회, 환경, 과학, 문화, 스포츠, 날씨, 광고 등 다양한 내용이 다뤄지고 있어 폭넓은 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 학습자들의 읽기와 쓰기 능력을 신장시키기 위한 방안으로 신문을 활용하고자 한다.
본 논문에서는 시트콤 및 신문에서 적절한 자료를 찾아 언어의 네 가지 기능인 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 영역에 알맞은 활용 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 다양한 정보와 재미있는 내용을 제공해 주는 대중매체를 통해서 외국인 학습자들이 한국어 실력을 높이는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육방법을 개발하는 데 목적이 있다.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 24th Aug,1992, the two countries have been keeping a very close relationship. South Korea is an important trade partner of China in Asia. Along with the development of trades between two countries, an unavoidable issue emerges, that is hinder led by different languages. Only by efficient communicate can we have better cooperation and prospect. Consequently, Korea is being focused. Many universities in China set up the major of Korea. There are many Korean training classes nationwide.
Besides that, there are a growing number of overseas students coming to South Korean, which is 62442 now. In order to help Chinese student to master Korean efficiently, the researches and studies about Korean teaching material, subsidiary teaching material and exploit of Korean education have been carried on and develop swiftly. The purpose of the thesis is to help students to realize the importance of the Korean and improve the ability of communication.
The thesis is themed with Communicative Language Teaching and with the goal of help students have fluent communications. So the thesis makes use of the sitcom called ｢하이킥! 짧은 다리의 역습 ｣ to exploit the class activities about listening and speaking and makes use of the news to exploit class activities about reading and composition.
Initially, the first chapter introduces the necessity of the study, the way to study and the analysis of former study. The second chapter introduces the concrete goal of middle-level Korean and makes full use of the importance of public media to Korean education especially to clarify the advantage of the sitcom and news mentioned in the thesis. The third one introduces the principles of education about spoken and listening classes. Also denotes the reason why we select ｢하이킥! 짧은다리의 역습｣as sample. Furthermore, the concrete class activities that base on｢하이킥! 짧은다리의 역습｣ and expected effects will be showed in this phase. The fourth naturally is supposed to talk about the principle of education of reading and composition. Owing to the special quality of news, the notice of selecting proper news will be a vital part. With the help of news, comics and pictures, what expected effect can we receive? The result will be announced in the fourth part.
We hope that the thesis will play a role in helping people to catch up with the ordinary speaking speed and the class activities can arouse the interest of Korean learning. The ability of communication of Korean and how to convey the thoughts and advice efficiently will make progress that makes me satisfied as well. I’m looking forward to the progress in Korean of more and more people.
