In this study, the satisfaction level of students in the programs provided by the Multicultural Family Support Center was examined. For this purpose, the demographic characteristics and participation status of students in the programs provided by the Multicultural Family Support Center as well as their satisfaction level were investigated. The students' native countries were determined with the assistance of the Multicultural Family Support Center in Jungnang-gu and the questionnaire was translated into Chinese and Vietnamese, which were two of the most common languages among the participants. The questionnaire was translated into multiple languages to accommodate beginners in the Korean language to minimize language bias that may occur in multicultural families, and the questionnaire was used as an investigative tool after confirming that the questionnaire posed no difficulty in understanding. The questionnaire was distributed to 156 subjects, who gave prior consent to the survey, 132 of which were faithfully answered and utilized in the final analysis.
The results of this study showed that the multicultural families participating in the programs provided by the Multicultural Family Support Center in Jungnang-gu were satisfied with the life in Korea and relationship with their spouses and parents-in-laws. They also answered that the programs offered to multicultural families are highly important for the reasons of adaptation to the life in Korea, aid to children education and harmony within the family. In addition, they were shown to be highly satisfied with the Korean language program, information service program on living in Korea, and basic knowledge and refinement program for employment.
Among the various programs provided by the Multicultural Family Support Center, practical programs for daily life showed high satisfaction and participation levels, which demonstrated the need to discover and support multicultural programs that help foreign individuals adapt to the life in Korea.
There are limitations in applying the results of this study to other Multicultural Family Support Centers as it was conducted within the Multicultural Family Support Center in Jungnang-gu of Seoul.

본 연구에서 다문화가족지원센터에서 지원하고 있는 프로그램에 참여한 수강생들이 프로그램에 대해 받아들이고 있는 만족도를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 중랑구 소재 다문화가족지원센터에서 지원하고 있는 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 수강자의 인구학적 특성과 참여 실태, 그리고 프로그램에 대한 만족도를 조사하였다. 중랑구 다문화가족지원센터 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 위해 중랑구다문화가족지원센터의 도움을 받아 수강생의 출생국가를 확인하여 참여도가 높은 국가 중 중국과 베트남 국가의 언어로 설문내용을 번안하였다. 설문지를 구성하는 측면에서 다문화가족의 특성상 발생할 수 있는 언어적 편파성(Language Bias)을 최소화하기 위해 한국어 미숙자를 위한 다언어(Multilingual)로 설문지를 번안하고, 설문지의 이해도를 확인하기 위해 사전에 검사를 하여 이해에 어려움이 없는 것을 확인하고 조사도구로 활용하였다. 설문은 설문에 동의한 156명의 대상자에게 설문하여 성실 하게 응답한 132부의 설문지를 최종분석 자료로 활용하였다.
연구 결과 중랑구 다문화가족지원센터에서 지원하는 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 다문화가족들은 한국생활에 만족함을 나타내고, 배우자와 배우자 부모와의 관계에서도 만족하며, 다문화가족에게 지원되는 프로그램에 대해서는 매우 중요하다고 응답하였으며, 그 사유로는 한국생활 적응을 위해, 그리고 자녀교육의 도움, 가정의 화합으로 나타났다. 또한 한국어 교육프로그램과 한국생활에 필요한 정보제공 서비스 프로그램, 취업을 위한 기초소양 프로그램이 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
다문화가족지원센터에서 지원하고 있는 다양한 프로그램 중 다문화가족들의 실생활에 필요한 프로그램의 참여도와 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타나 한국생활에 필요한 다문화프로그램의 발굴과 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.
이 연구는 서울특별시 중랑구 다문화지원센터로 한정하였기 때문에 타 지역의 다문화가족지원센터에 일반화하여 적용하기에는 제한점을 가지고 있다.
