【摘要】：要想在新的教育系统中获得学术成功,留学生面临的重要的任务就是适应新的学术环境,而很多留学生在到达他们留学的学校时,都未能意识到他们必须得克服的巨大的适应困难。广西因其是通往东南亚国家的一个重要门户而成为泰国学生的主要留学目的地之一,广西师范大学的泰国留学生数量在广西名列前茅。据此,本探讨采用质的探讨措施,对在广西师范大学攻读学位的五名泰国留学生的学术适应经历进行探讨,目的是了解作用泰国留学生学术适应的因素,应对策略,并提出相关建议。探讨主要围绕如下问题展开：1.受试者在中国读研期间经历了什么学术适应困难?2.他们是如何克服这些学术适应困难的?3.作用学术适应困难的因素有哪些?4.受试者对相关机构及个人有何建议?探讨从2017年3月开始,到11月结束,应用基本信息问卷调查,三次跟踪访谈,多次课堂观察以及非正式交谈的措施来收集数据,并结合相关的跨文化适应理论以及中泰教育环境的异同,对数据进行比较略论和主题归类。探讨发现,受试者在中国读研期间遇到的学术适应困难表现在课堂参与,论文写作,师生关系,方言,以及中国人说话方式等方面。受试者表示他们刚来中国学习的时候,难以按时上课,习惯听老师讲课而不是积极参与课堂；缺乏论文写作经验,不熟悉中国论文写作规范；与中国老师关系疏远；难以听懂说话带有口音的老师的讲课。除此之外,受试者对说话大声的中国人会感到焦虑,让他们不敢与那些人交流。为了克服这些困难,受试者采取的应对策略包括观看电视连续剧和电影,多交中国朋友和多与泰国学生交流。作用受试者学术适应困难的因素包括不正确的学习态度、网络限制、不熟悉图书馆以及电子图书馆的使用、没有固定课本和缺乏专业知识；而奖学金的压力、朋友的帮助以及小班教学则有利于促进泰国学生的学术适应。受试者建议接受泰国留学生的学校给学生补课,多为中外学生举办非正式的交流活动,开设相关讲座；而关于那些即将来华留学的泰国学生,受访者建议他们准备电子词典和日常用语词典,选择合适的专业以及做好适应东道国生活环境的心理准备。
