Based on a dictionary of Thai and corpus technology, the study analyzed ＂Xiang＂ meaning items with quantitative and qualitative methods. The result showed that the word ＂Xiang＂ of ＂modern Thai＂ omitted three new-meaning items, namely ＂tall body＂, ＂strong power＂ and ＂elephant God＂. |
