There are three corresponding patterns between the derived meanings of -containing Chinese words and -containing Thai words. The first pattern is similarity in these two categories, and the second pattern is a certain derived meaning item exists in -containing Chinese words while absent in -containing Thai words. The third corresponding pattern is a certain derived meaning item ex- ists in -containing Thai words while absent in -containing Chinese words.
