Abstract： As the main course of French teaching in elementary stages, basic French class plays a leading role in passing on the basic knowledge and skills of French to students and in developing their competence of using French language. This essay intends to examine the reform of basic French class from the perspective of semiotics, and explore how to improve students' intercultural communicative competence and their proficiency in listening, reading and translating in French. |
