Abstract： French is the only language which is used in countries and regions in five continents besies English. It is the official language of many international organizations. It is also known as the “cultural lan-guage”because of its long history and rich cultural connotation. However,nowadays the influence of French is not as far-reaching as before. There is a big gap between French and English. In order to maintain its“big language”status,the French government spares no effort to promote French and French culture around the world. |
