Abstract: With the development of tourism in our country, more and more foreigners set China as their first choice of a travel destination. Tourism advertisement as an effective way to publicize tourism resources of China, its translation quality can directly influence the development of tourism. This paper based on the translation principles of tourism ads, it point out that translators should pay attention to cultural transmission elements in the process of translation and put forward some translation strategies. 摘要:近年来我国旅游事业不断发展,越来越多的外国人把中国作为他们旅游的首选国家。旅游宣传广告作为一种对外宣传中国旅游资源的有效途径,其翻译的质量直接影响着旅游业的发展。本文从旅游广告的翻译原则着手,指出翻译者在翻译过程中应当注意文化传递这一要素,提出旅游广告翻译的一些基本策略。 关键词:旅游广告;语言差异;文化差异;翻译策略
From the above analysis, we can know good translation of tourism ads can achieve propaganda purposes, spread Chinese culture and promote cultural exchange. However, as tourism is a comprehensive activity, translators should have wide range of knowledge and use different translation methods to translate English and Chinese tourism ads flexibly. China is a vast land, rich in tourism resources. To become a real tourism power, it is necessary to attach importance to the translation of tourism ads. Translation tourism ads is a bridge between the historical culture in China and the foreign tourists. Translators should grasp the language differences and cultural differences between the two countries. Choose the appropriate translation skill flexibly, make the version get the recognition and achieve the emotional resonance.
