摘要：目前初中英语口语教学基本是采取以教师为中心的教学模式 这极大地抑制了学生学习口语的积极性，而以学生为中心的新型教学模式可以有效地调动学生学习口语的积极性和创造性。本文通过阐述以学生为中心的教学模式在初中口语教学中的运用来证明其独特的优势。同时，本文还提出了几项初中英语口语教学的建议，旨在帮助教师在初中英语口语教学中实际运用这一教学模式来活跃课堂气氛，提高教学效果。

Abstract: At present, oral English teaching adopts the traditional teacher-centered teaching mode in junior middle school which controls students’ learning initiative of spoken English. And student-centered teaching mode can arouse students’ enthusiasm and creativity of oral English learning. This paper illustrates application of student-centered teaching mode in junior middle school oral English teaching to prove its unique advantages. At the same time, the paper includes some advice of oral English teaching in junior middle school that will help teachers to apply the teaching mode to the oral English teaching in junior middle school, which can enliven the atmosphere and heighten the teaching effect.
