Abstract: John Steinbeck, one of the most famous American writers of the 20th century, won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962. The Grapes of Wrath, his most famous work published in 1939, expresses the ecological thoughts of his and reveals the basic causes of the ecological destruction. This thesis aims to analyze the ecological problem reflected in The Grapes of Wrath from eco-critical theory. The ultimate aim is to explore how to establish a harmonious relationship between man and nature. This thesis is to present the definition of eco-criticism, and to inquire into the ecological crisis with a conclusion that human and nature could keep in harmony. 摘要:20世纪美国著名作家之一---约翰·斯坦贝克在1962年获得了诺贝尔文学奖。他的著作《愤怒的葡萄》于1939年出版发行。这本著作表述了约翰·斯坦贝克的生态思想,并揭示了生态破坏的根本原因。本篇论文旨在运用生态批评理论分析《愤怒的葡萄》中的生态问题。最终目的是探索如何在人与自然间建立和谐的关系。论文介绍了生态批评主义理论,包括基本概念,理论发展过程和主要观点,同时深入探讨了生态危机,分析了人与自然的关系并确信人与自然应当和谐相处。 关键词:《愤怒的葡萄》;生态批评主义;人类中心主义;和谐关系 |
