Abstract: Based on a review of foreign language autonomous learning and gender differences related to foreign language learning home and abroad, this research hypothesizes that gender differences should be exhibited in the English autonomous learning of junior middle school students. The results show that the gender differences have been reflected in the autonomous learning of junior middle school students in the following aspects: learning motivation, learning goals and plans, self-management, material utilization and self-evaluation. And both girl students and boy students have their strong points. As long as the students can look at the gender differences correctly, take the right attitudes toward English learning, make good use of their advantages, both the girl and boy students can become good English learners. 摘要:本研究在综述了国内外外语自主学习和外语学习性别差异的基础上提出了假设:初中生在英语学习中存在性别差异。调查结果表明男女生在英语自主学习过程中存在学习动机、确立学习目标与制定学习计划、自我监控、寻求学习资料和自我评价等方面不同程度的差异,但各有所长。只要男女生能够正确地看待性别差异现象,树立积极的学习态度,发挥各自的优势,都能提高自主学习能力,成为成功的英语学习者。 关键词:自主学习;性别差异;学习策略 |
