Abstract:Small-group Cooperative Learning is one of the teaching or learning method that the New Curriculum advocates. It is an important and effective method in English teaching process. The following article focuses on small-group Cooperative Learning in English teaching process in Junior School under the New Curriculum. First, it introduces the terms of New Curriculum and Small-group cooperative learning and also their relationships. Furthermore, it is discussed the why we advocate Small-group Cooperative learning. Finally, it is discussed in detail how to practice Small-group Cooperative learning in the English teaching process in Junior School under the New Curriculum Standards to improve learning efficiency and teaching quality.
