Abstract:With the development of our English Teaching, our teaching materials and methodologies are becoming more and more diverse. But some problems are still to be solved. Translation is one of them. Some students who have been learning English for two to three years can hardly express their ideas orally or in writing accurately. Middle School English teachers always emphasize four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, but translation skill is ignored. They seldom design proper translation exercises for students. In fact, the skills are influencing each other. The cultivating of translation ability is an indispensable part in middle school English teaching which can promote other four skills learning. This thesis mainly discusses the importance of translation exercises in junior high school English teaching, and the author tries to discuss the right way to design translation exercises in junior high school English teaching. The author thinks a good translation exercise should be properly and scientific. Key words: Junior high school; English translation exercises; designing; importance
中文摘要:随着初中英语新课标的改革,我们的教材和教学方法越来越呈现多样化。但还是有些问题亟待解决。部分中学生学了两三年英语仍然很难准确地用英语表达完整的意思。原因之一是中学英语教师一味地强调听、说、读、写,却忽略了翻译能力的培养,他们几乎不为学生设计符合学生实际情况的翻译练习。事实上,翻译能力的培养是中学英语教学中不可忽视的一部分,它能促进其他四项技能的提高,五项技能相辅相成。本文主要阐述设计初中翻译练习的重要性,同时讨论合理的初中英语翻译练习的设计方式。作者认为初中英语翻译练习的设计应该科学合理。 关键词:初中英语;翻译练习;设计;重要性 |
