Abstract:The paper is dedicated to exploring E.B.White’s literature design of the character of Charlotte and the process of saving Wilbur from dreadful fate by her in Charlotte’s Web. The story tells us how a spider helps a pig escape from his destined fate. From the process of saving Wilbur and the analysis of the character of Charlotte, we can find that if one wants to work miracle what qualities he should have. The paper will be mainly divided into two parts. The first part will focus on the development of saving Wilbur, how Charlotte helps Wilbur escape from his destined fate. The second part will focus on the analysis of the character of Charlotte, implies the factors of Charlotte’s success and an ordinary person can work miracles with essential qualities. 

　　Selfless devotion, brightness, dissatisfied with her life and the will of self-realization, Charlotte decides to help Wilbur change his fate. During the process of saving Wilbur, Charlotte lifts up her life, and at the same time cultivates her friendship with Wilbur.

摘要:本论文主要关注并分析美国当代散文家E.B.怀特所著《夏洛的网》中夏洛的人物性格特点和夏洛解救韦伯的过程。这部以小猪韦伯和蜘蛛夏洛为主角的儿童文学，讲述了一只普通的名叫夏洛的蜘蛛帮助小猪韦伯摆脱噩运的故事。本论文将通过对夏洛的性格和夏洛解救韦伯过程的分析，试图揭示平凡的人如何才能创造奇迹。本论文主要分为两个部分。第一部分是描述故事的发展，夏洛是如何帮助韦伯逃脱噩运的。第二部分是通过对夏洛在帮助韦伯的过程中展现得性格特点的解读，阐述平凡的人想要创造奇迹需要具备的条件。

　　　夏洛的无私、聪明、对自己生活现状的不满和希望实现自身生存价值的强烈愿望，促使她决定帮助韦伯。在这一过程中，夏洛不仅提升了自己生命的价值，还收获了与韦伯的友谊。
