Abstract:In recent years, reading has become more and more important in language teaching and testing. Therefore, it is important for senior school students’ to command a certain high English reading ability. This requires that senior school teachers put importance on teaching effective reading methods and the students pay attention to learning some useful methods. With the hope of getting this point, this research paper sets a research on how to improve school students’ English reading ability mainly. Key words: reading ability; reading ways; reading skills
