Abstract：The saying goes: “Interest is the best teacher.” Whatever we do, the interest plays an important role in the process. The English learning is not an exception. As an English teacher, what should he do firstly is to stimulate students’ interest in English learning. The teacher can use many aids such as stick drawing, kids rhyme, slide and so on to help him. But these aids take the teacher’s more time to prepare before class. Therefore, the most convenient aid is body language. The use of body language in listening, speaking, reading and writing can not only redound students to comprehend and memorize but also arouse students’ interest in English learning.

中文摘要：常言道：“兴趣是最好的老师”。无论做什么，兴趣是很重要的，英语学习也不例外。作为一名英语老师，他首先要做的便是激发学生的英语学习兴趣。他的方法可以有很多种，可以利用简笔画，童诗，幻灯片等。但这些方法需要老师课前花费大量的时间来准备。所以，最简便的方法是应用体态语言。体态语言在英语听，说，读，写四项技能训练中适当，灵活的应用，不但有利于学生的理解和记忆，而且能够激发学生的学习兴趣。
