Abstract: When learning English, many students choose learner’s dictionaries to assist their study. With learner's dictionaries being one kind of the most widely used dictionaries, the effects of them on English learning should be analyzed and thought about deeply. This study has studied the effects of the English-Chinese bilingualised learner's dictionary, compared with the other two types of learner’s dictionaries on the English learning of the first-grade English majors. Through the test of reading and translation for some first-grade English majors, and analysis of the result, the author compares the effects of English-Chinese bilingual learner’s dictionaries, English-English learner’s dictionaries and English-Chinese bilingualised learner’s dictionaries.

摘要：在英语学习中，很多学生都选择使用学习型词典来辅助自己更好地学习，英汉双解词典作为使用较为广泛的词典之一，对学生的英语学习究竟起着什么样的作用值得深入分析和思考。本文分析了英汉双解学习型词典在一年级英语专业学习中所发挥的作用，并通过对英语专业大一新生进行阅读和翻译的测试，对测试结果进行分析，进一步探讨及对比了英汉双语、英英、英汉双解三种学习型词典的使用效果。
