Abstract：Family, the first place for children to receive initial education, plays an essential role in a person’s whole life. Children family education, as the elementary stage of all kinds of educations, is the first step that children get in touch with the society. 

    There are many types of family education in the world and each of them shows distinctive features and is closely responsive to their cultures. And western family education is a famous one among them. There are great differences in the concepts of education, aim of education, methods of education and contents of education between western children family education and Chinese children family education. This paper will complete the comparative study from the differences and the causes of family education between the west and China.

摘要：家庭是孩子首先得到教育的地方，它对于人的一生具有相当重要的地位。幼儿家庭教育作为所有教育的基础，是孩子接触社会的第一步。

　　　在世界上有许多种家庭教育，每一个都有不同的特点并且反映了它们的文化。在它们当中，西方家庭教育是很有名的。中西方幼儿家庭教育在家庭教育的概念，教育目的，教育方法和教育内容上具有很大的不同。这篇论文将对比中西方幼儿家庭教育不同及其原因。
