Abstract:  This thesis mainly concludes four parts. At the beginning, the thesis expresses the recent study of public signs translation. The second part is about the definition and features of the public signs. The third part is the theory of functional equivalence. The last part is the methods of public signs translation according to the functional equivalence theory. Based on some mistranslations, this study aims to give suggestions on the method of public signs translation from the perspective of functional equivalence.

摘要： 本文分为四个部分，第一部分文献综述介绍了现有公示语翻译理论以及从功能对等论角度翻译公示语的研究成果。第二部分介绍了有关公示语的主要情况，包括其定义和特征。第三部分详细介绍奈达的功能对等理论。最后本文尝试从奈达的功能对等理论的角度，提出一些可行的翻译方法，这些翻译方法包括拼音加解释法，借代法等多种，希望能对公示语翻译有所帮助。
