Abstract: Magic realism is a modern fiction school which was rooted in Latin American literature and it was now placed on the top status of the world literature. By means of employing magic realism, Morrison has shown her craftsmanship in one of her most successful novels, Beloved, while at the same time absorbing the native traditional culture and bringing the various artistic skills into full play to present the life of black people. This paper concentrates on the interpretation of the successful adoption of the theory in Beloved from the perspectives of time order, narrative methods and the innovation shown by Morrison in this work.

摘要：魔幻现实主义是现代小说一种流派，它在世界文学上有着举世瞩目的地位。它源于拉丁美洲，汲取了西方文学的精髓。基本原则是魔幻与现实，过去与现在，表现变幻莫测的政治和社会现实，创造出一种带有哥特式的风格。莫里森在她大多数的作品中都运用了魔幻现实主义，同时又汲取传统文化，充分发挥艺术才能表现黑人的现实生活。因此，莫里森取得举世瞩目的成就。本文就魔幻现实主义理论的叙事时空顺序，叙事方法及发展创新在《宠儿》中的体现进行一番较为全面的解读
