Abstract: Subtitle is an necessary aid of enjoying movies and TV series, which has its own characteristics such as time and space restriction, being filled with culture image. While subtitle translation is a tool of multicultural exchange，which helps target audience enjoy forign teleplays. For the difficulties of translating subtitles, relevance theory and skopos theory were put forward as two main theoretical guidance for choosing translating methods. So far, many professionals at home and abroad have attached importance to subtitle translation and have proposed many translating methods. This paper starts with features of subtitle and theories of translation methods. Then it mainly analyses several most used translating methods such as reduction, domestication translation and focuses on translating puns with examples from familiar teleplays. Finally, suggestions are posed with expectations that Chinese translators will bring more excellent works to Chinese audience, which will be helpful to multicultural exchange.

摘要：  作为辅助大众欣赏影视作品的必要工具，影视字幕有其诸如时空限制性、富有文化内涵等特色。而作为多元文化交流的辅助工具，影视字幕翻译能让目的语受众欣赏到原汁原味的异国作品。出于影视字幕翻译的高难度，前人学者提出了关联理论及目的论作为选择翻译方法的理论指导。迄今，海内外无数专家学者研究影视字幕翻译的方法，也颇有成效。本文以字幕特点及字幕翻译理论指导为始，借以广为人知的影视作品解析当下最常用的翻译方法，着重分析双关语的翻译技巧，终而提出寥寥意见，期许广大字幕翻译人员能为我国大众带来更多的优秀作品，让中国受众更好地了解多元文化。
