Abstract: This thesis discusses a common language phenomenon: Chinglish. Firstly，it discusses the features of Chinglish from four levels: speech sound, vocabulary, grammars, and pragmatics. Then the thesis further discusses the causes of Chinglish from phonetic level, lexical level, syntactic level, and textual level. It is found that Chinglish is systematic in its features and causes, which hopefully can be a prelude to further studies of how to best avoid Chinglish in the long run.

摘要：本文讨论一个普遍的语言现象：中式英语。首先，从四个层面分析中式英语的特征，即语音、词汇、语法和语用。然后，本文将进一步从语音、词汇、句法和语篇层面分析中式英语的成因。中式英语的特征和成因都是有一定的规律性，希望本研究能成为讨论最终如何避免中式英语的前奏。
