Abstract: The vampire culture, as one of the gothic cultures, is originated from the Europe. Twilight tells a love story between a vampire named Edward and a mortal named Bella. In this novel, the vampires are written with humanity. They have their own strengths; they can love and protect each other. This paper aims to analyze vampire’s cultural connotation by exploring its origins, historical background, the new development of vampire story in the 4 books and its effects on readers, and the significance in modern society, in order to reveal human’s longing for eternal life and arouse human’s reflection on the value of its being. 摘要:吸血鬼文化属于西方哥特文化的一种,发源于欧洲。《暮光之城》系列小说讲述了吸血鬼爱德华和凡人少女贝拉的爱情故事,故事中的吸血鬼被赋予了“人性”,他们各有所长,相亲相爱,互相守护。本文旨在分析《暮光之城》中的吸血鬼文化,通过探索吸血鬼产生的宗教及历史渊源,小说中吸血鬼故事的发展以及对读者的影响,时代意义,揭示出人们对永生的渴望,引发人类对自身存在价值的思考。 关键词:《暮光之城》;吸血鬼文化 |
