Abstract: This research aims to explore the impacts of extroversion/introversion personality of Senior High School Students on English learning strategies. The paper proposes that much attention be paid to these factors in our English language teaching. The research of students’ personality differences has great implications for language teaching. Teachers should take students’ personality differences into consideration. Different teaching methods should be adopted with accordance to different students. On the other hand, teachers should help students to be high-motivated and to be self-autonomous learners by identifying their learning features and choosing appropriate learning strategies. Thus teachers can improve their teaching efficiency. Finally, the author will give some suggestions for the current English teaching. Teachers should help their students develop personality that is beneficial to English learning. Key words: learning strategies; learning styles; personality; extroversion/introversion
摘要:本文从了解学生的外/内向性格特征和他们所运用的学习策略着手,进而探究出高中学生外/内向性格对英语学习策略的影响。本文指出,研究学生的性格差异对外语教学有极大的指导作用。在我们的英语教学中,教师应充分考虑学生的性格差异,对不同的学生采用不同的教学方法。另一方面,教师应帮助学生分析个人的学习特点,选择适合个人的学习策略,提高学生的学习动机,培养学生的学习自主性,从而进一步提高教学效果。最后对目前英语教学提出了一些建议,指出外语教师帮助学生培养一些有利于外语学习的性格。 关键词:学习策略;学习风格;性格;内/外向 |
