Abstract: This paper discusses the characteristics and translation strategies of English commercial advertising language. It firstly analyzes the unique features of English commercial advertising language in terms of vocabulary, sentence structures and rhetorical devices and then discusses the factors that affect the translation of English advertisements into Chinese, like geographical and cultural factors. Based on these, the paper finally suggests different translation strategies of translating different English advertisements into Chinese.

摘要:本文讨论了英语商业广告语的特征及其汉译策略。文章首先从词汇、句法和修辞手法的角度分析了商业英语广告语所独有的特征,并从地理和文化方面讨论了影响商业英语广告汉译的诸多因素。在此基础上,文章最后提出针对不同的英语商业广告应该采用不同的翻译策略。
