Abstract:Writing is one of the most important skills in English learning. As one of the productive skills, writing can be a good reflection of students’ overall mastery of the skills of English language learning. However, many middle school teachers and students ignore the teaching and learning of English writing, which causes students to make errors in their English writing. By the means of questionnaire and writing test, the study was to investigate the current situation of common errors in students’ English writing in the No.1 Middle School of Pu’er and to find out the major existing problems so as to provide basis for the further improvement of English writing teaching. Some existing problems and shortages were pointed out. Meanwhile, some related countermeasures were put forward too.

摘要:写作是英语学习中的一项重要技能，作为一项综合技能，写作是掌握英语学习技能的一个主要体现。但是，很多中学老师和学生都忽视了英语写作教学和英语写作学习，致使很多学生在写作中经常出错。本文旨在采用问卷调查和写作测试方法来了解普洱中学的学生写作常见错误情况，找出主要存在的问题，为英语写作教学的改进提供依据。在指出存在的问题和不足的同时，提出相应的解决措施。
