Abstract: There are many researches on the tourist text translation. But a few people emphasize the language characteristic in the process of translation. This paper takes Nanjing as an example to illustrate this phenomenon. The author illustrates the differences between the different texts which are quoted from the same tourist attraction. Then the author puts forward these reasons and gives an appreciation of typical translation. Finally, the author calls on that a qualified translator should translate tourist texts depending on the different situations. Translators play a great role in the development of Nanjing's tourism industry.

摘要:作者通过研究发现在对旅游文本英译的过程中仍然存在很多的问题。但是只有很少一部分人注意到翻译过程中的语言特色问题。本文以南京为例讨论了这个问题。笔者首先通过引用自同一个景点的文本的不同阐述了文本之间的差异。然后总结出原因并评析了一个典型文本。笔者认为应该根据文本具体使用环境来进行翻译。
