Abstract: Jane Eyre and Dushiniang are the heroines in the classic literary works Jane Eyre and Stories to Warn Men respectively. Both of them come from bottom of the society and have resistant characters, but  there are some different aspects in their characters. They both long for love and financial independence, but there exist differences in their feminine consciousness. The author attempts to make a comparison on the feminine consciousness of Jane Eyre and Dushiniang and discuss its impacts on the women of later generations.

摘要：简爱和杜十娘分别是东西方文学作品中处于社会底层的妇女形象，他们在性格上均存在反抗性，但两者的性格又有所不同。她们同样渴望自由平等的爱情和经济上的解放和独立，但觉醒程度存在差异。作者从性格，爱情和经济三个方面比较两者女性意识觉醒的异同及其对后世女性斗争的影响。
