Abstract:Anxiety has been given much attention in the study of language acquisition. In this study, the author states the history of anxiety’s studies and its background firstly. In the literature review, the author illustrates some definitions and the classifications of anxiety. Next, the author tries to find anxieties which seriously influence language learners. The author utilized a questionnaire to carry out this study. From data analysis, it was found that varied kinds of anxieties existed in students’ English classrooms, such as: communication apprehension, test anxiety, fear of negative evaluation and general anxiety. Then, the author gives some countermeasures for teachers and students to help students reduce anxiety so that the level of English learning can be improved. Finally, the author summarizes the results of this study and points out some limitations and implications in this study. Key words: anxiety; English learning; influence; countermeasures
摘要:焦虑在语言习得研究上受到普遍重视。文章中作者首先阐述了焦虑研究的历史及其背景。在相关的文献中,作者给出了一些焦虑的定义及其分类。然后作者试图找出焦虑对语言学习者有着严重的影响,并通过问卷调查来进行研究。数据分析显示,学生在英语课堂上存在着几种焦虑情况,有交际畏惧,考试畏惧,负评价畏惧和普遍焦虑。接着作者提出了一些帮助学生缓解焦虑的对策从而改善学生的英语水平。最后, 作者总结了研究结果并提出本研究具有一定的局限性以及应用价值。 关键词:焦虑;英语学习;影响;对策 |
