ABSTRACT:According to the Standard of English Curriculum plan for oral English, how to change the methods and models of classroom teaching and improve students’ oral English expression ability and communication ability has become an urgent problem to be resolved. To improve the Chinese students’ oral English, some foreign teachers have been hired, and working in China to teach. However, there are still many differences between foreign teachers and Chinese teachers. Influenced by students’ language environment,their psychology,their attitudes on oral English,teaching ideology and teaching model,school facilities. This paper is a comparative study between traditional large-sized classes and foreign teachers’ small-sized classes in Junior Middle School. About five aspects, changes about the education activities elements, the relationship between teachers and students, the circumstance of English teaching, the curriculum instruction, the last one is judgment of the English studying. The result of investigation indicates that foreign teachers’ small-sized classes are more effective and more active than traditional large-sized classes. 摘要:根据《英语课程标准》对口语学习的要求,如何改善学生在英语课堂学习英语口语表达,并且提高口语表达能力,已经成为一个非常严峻的问题。为了能促进中国学生英语口语的学习,中国开始引进外籍教师进行英语教学。但是,中外籍教师间的教育存在着许多的差异,受影响于学生的语言环境、学生的心理现象、学生对口语的思想重视性、教育理念与教学模式、学校硬件设施情况等。本文是对分别授课于外教小班口语教学和中国教师传统大班教学进行口语学习的初中生对比研究。文章从五个方面进行比较,即教育教学活动、师生关系、教学环境、课堂教学以及教学方法。文章从五个方面进行比较,即教育教学活动、师生关系、教学环境、课堂教学以及口语教学评价。调查的结果显示,外教小班口语教学与中教传统大班教学教学性质相比,学生态度更为积极,思想重视性较高,学习的目标明确,效果明显好于中教传统大班教学。 关键词:英语口语;中国教师传统大班;外教小班;调查研究 |
