ABSTRACT:In the age of globalization, communications between different countries occur frequently. The past few decades witnessed the quick development of McDonald’s. Its expansion in the United States itself and in the whole world led to McDonaldization. As the typical representation of American fast food culture, McDonald’s is promoting American culture all around the world. When more and more Chinese swarm into McDonald’s to taste its delicious food, they are inevitably influenced by the American culture whether they realize it or not. When serving their customers with food and service, McDonald’s is at the same time trying to convey the ideals and values of the American culture. This thesis makes an attempt to discuss the influence of McDonaldization on the Chinese culture. It argues that the influence of McDonaldization on the Chinese culture is reflected on the Chinese food culture and on the Chinese values. It aims to make more people realize such influence and to make them view McDonaldization and its influence objectively. 摘要: 随着全球化进程的加快,不同国家间的交流与接触频频。麦当劳在过去几十年中的飞速发展引起了全世界的关注。它在美国甚至世界各地的扩张导致了麦当劳化的产生。作为美国快餐文化的典型代表,它正在全世界大力推广美国文化和价值。当越来越多的中国人涌入麦当劳时,他们在有意无意的受到美国文化的影响。麦当劳在向顾客提供食物和服务的同时,也向他们传递着美国文化的理念和价值。本论文主要探讨麦当劳化对中国文化的影响,这种影响主要反映在中国饮食文化和价值观念两个方面。其目的在于使人们充分意识到这一影响,并能客观地对待麦当劳化及其影响,从而促进中美文化间的相互交流。 关键词:麦当劳化;麦当劳;中国文化;影响 |
