Abstract: Foe retells the story of Robinson Crusoe by using a female narrator Susan Barton, who persists in persuading Foe (an author) to write the story of her, Cruso and Friday on the island, thus the emptiness of female roles in Robinson Crusoe is filled by Susan’s narration. Moreover, Susan Barton is presented as an independent woman who pursues the equality between men and women and sets against the patriarchal authority of the male, which can reflect the spirit of feminism. This paper aims to analyze Foe and Susan Barton from the perspective of feminism. Keywords: Foe, Susan Barton, feminism, patriarchal authority
