Abstract:Learning strategies can make the learners’ learning easier, faster, more enjoyable, more self-directed, more effective, and help learners to control their own learning through organizing, planning, and evaluating. This paper tries to show English learning strategies influence the English learning of sophomore students in Foreign Language School of Yuxi Normal University . On basis of Oxford’s Strategy Inventory for Language and Wen Qiufang, Cheng Xiaotang’s research, the author projected a set of questionnaires for English learning strategies for the research, and expects to find some factors connected with English learning strategies that are influencing students’ English learning. The results reveal that to some extent, the students are used to using English learning strategy when they learn English. But there still exist some differences and disadvantages in learning process. According to the results, the author points out some implications on how to learn and teach English for students and teachers. Key words: English majors; English learning strategies; usage condition
中文摘要:学习策略,可以使学习者的学习更方便、更快捷、更愉快、更自主、更有效;而且能帮助学习者通过组织、规划和评价来有效的控制自己的学习。本文主要调查了玉溪师范学院外国语学院英语专业大二学生英语学习策略的使用情况。结果表明,在某种程度上英语专业的学生在学习英语时习惯使用学习策略。然而在其学习的过程中也存在不同和不足之处。根据调查结果,作者对如何更好地学习和教授英语提出了一些相应的建议。 关键词:英语专业学生;英语学习策略;使用情况 |
