Abstract:Language and culture are so closely connected that neither of them can be separated from the other. On one hand, language is an integral part of culture, which plays an essential role in the perpetuation of culture. On the other hand, culture imposes a strong impact on language, which shapes language and gets reflected in language. The relationship between culture and language determines that language cannot be taught divorced from its relevant culture. The paper discusses the cultural differences and culture permeating in English teaching,on the basis of the author’s experiment on her own students on permeating cultural differences through practice and got an ideal result. It consists of five chapters. Chapter I serves as an introduction stating the relationship between language and culture. Chapter II introduces some theoretical basis relative to the Present Study. Chapter III is the research part, from which, the reader could know the object, procedure and methodologies of the research. In chapter IV, the writer analyzes the data, and presents the results. Chapter V is the conclusion. Reinforcing that culture teaching should be integrated with language teaching. At the same time it puts forward the necessity and feasible of culture teaching. 摘要:语言和文化是之间的关系是紧密相连,不可分割的。一方面,语言是文化的一个有机的组成部分,在记载和传承文化的过程中扮演着重要的作用;另一方面,文化对语言有强烈的影响。它可以更好地塑造语言并在语言中体现。文化与语言之间相互依存的关系决定了语言教学不能脱离其相关的文化而进行。 本文探讨了英语教学中文化差异和文化渗透问题,同时在对自己所任班级进行了若干文化差异渗透实验的基础上,作者通过实践更好地了解了文化渗透,并通过对实验的研究和总结,得到比较满意的结果和可行的方法。本文分为五个部分。第一个部分,总体介绍文化和语言之间紧密结合的关系。第二部分,理论文献综述部分,着重介绍了该领域之前的一些理论基础知识以及众多笔者对于文化教学的研究成果,进一步分析了当今文化教学现状。第三部分,研究部分。读者通过这一部分可以更好的了解研究过程中的具体问题及对比实验实施对象,过程和方法。第四部分,数据分析和研究结果部分。作者对收集的数据进行了整理和整合,最终展示了科学的实验结果。第五部分,总结部分,在提出本研究存在的问题和局限性的同时,也提出了文化教学在英语教学中的可行性和必要性。 关键词:文化;文化差异;英语教学
