Abstract:This article deals with the factors affecting oral English teaching in middle schools in the minority regions. It points out that the improvement of oral English ability of minority students must embark on studying oral English according to the actual situation of minority students, and teachers should help the students to overcome psychological difficulties and the barrier of native language custom. Meanwhile, in class, the teacher should strengthen basically communicative skills and help students set up self-confidence in learning process by carrying out some English extracurricular activities. Because of out-of-classroom activities can enhance student’s self-confidence in learning English. At the same time, teachers should raise their own English level, improve the teaching method unceasingly and adapt themselves to meet the need of oral English teaching in minority areas. 中文摘要:本文分析了影响少数民族地区中学英语教学的诸多因素,指出了要提高少数民族学生英语口语能力,就必须从少数民族学生学习英语口语的实际出发,帮助学生克服心理和本民族语言习惯上的障碍。加强对学生基本功的训练、口语实践以及帮助学生树立在学习的主体地位、文化意识和开展一些英语课外活动,来增加学生学习英语的自信心,从而提高学生的口语表达能力,同时注意提高教师自身专业水平,不断改进教学方法,以适应少数民族地区英语口语教学需要。 关键词:口语表达能力;学生的自信心;少数民族地区 |
