Abstract:Puns are frequently used in literary works to convey certain significance which can be easily misunderstood without certain pragmatically guidance. This paper will study on the English puns in Alice’s adventures in wonderland from the perspective of pragmatics, and to study how the puns achieve certain specific pragmatic effects so as to increase the beauty of language by intentionally violating the cooperative principles. With the implicature created by puns being pragmatically interpreted, and to further interpret the pragmatic meaning of puns. 摘要:双关语常常出现在文学作品中用来表达特定的意义，这些特定的意义若没有语用学的指导就很容易被误解。本论文从语用学的角度分析《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》中的双关语，探讨双关语是如何通过违反合作原则而达到特定的语用效果而为文章增色的。基于对双关语所产生的含义的正确理解之上，从而进一步解读双关语的语用含义。 关键词：双关语，合作原则，会话含义 |
