Abstract: This study aims to analyze the similarities and differences between views on marriage in Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre. Comparisons in terms of the different marriage patterns give rise to different views on marriage. The author sets the study from five parts as follows. The first part gives a brief introduction to the two books and reason for choosing this topic. Part Two offers a description of the different marriages in each novel. Then comes part Three, which analyses the different views on marriage in the two books. Part Four presents the reasons for the differences between the two works in their views on marriage. The last part draws a conclusion to the whole thesis. The paper concludes that the two famous novels concerning love and marriage bring fresh air to the English literary field and bring inspiration to modern people, for love and marriage are the permanent topics among human beings.

摘要：本文旨在分析《傲慢与偏见》与《简爱》两部作品中婚姻观的异同点，通过对不同的婚姻爱情进行比较而引出不同的婚姻观。笔者将本文分为以下五章。第一章节对两部作品和选择该课题的原因进行了简要的介绍；第二章节描述了每部作品中的不同婚姻爱情；第三章节主要分析两部作品中的婚姻观；第四章节就两部作品中的婚姻观异同的原因进行阐述；最后一章节是对全文的综述。本文总结到这两部有关婚姻爱情的著作不仅给英国文学界带去一份新意，也给予现代人们以灵感。
