ABSTRACT：With the advent of information age and ever increasing communication between China and other countries, the rising number of excellent English movies enter into the movie market of China. We must realize that the subtitle translation is not only an indispensable part of our translation study, but also one of the key elements that contribute to the success of a movie on the international markets, given that the movies play such an important role in world today.

    Influenced by Dynamic Equivalence theory he put forward, he has undisputedly ushered a new era of translation theory studying and exerted profound effect on the translation field. Based on this theory, this thesis spares no effort to demonstrate the application of Dynamic Equivalence theory in subtitle translation from cultural, Aesthetic, Linguistic and stylistic aspects aiming at waking people's awareness of recognizing the significance of comprehensive studying of subtitle translation. In the end, we come to the conclusion that it is of great significance that we must make our subtitle translation perfectly and successfully due to the important role it plays in promoting the cultural exchanges and achieving the goal of sustainable development of movie industry.

中文摘要：随着信息时代的到来，中国与世界的交往程度越来越深，如今越来越多的外国优秀电影走进了中国。电影不仅可以丰富人们的娱乐生活，同时也是传播和交流文化的纽带。影视翻译是翻译实践的重要组成部分，也是优秀电影作品走向国际市场并得到广泛认同的关键所在。

    尤金奈达是驰名中外的当代美国著名的语言学家和翻译大家，他提出的动态对等理论开创了翻译理论研究的新时代， 对中外翻译界产生了深远的影响。本文立足于动态对等理论，着重从语言，文化，美学，以及语体风格四个方面探讨这一理论在英文电影字幕翻译实践中的可行性，旨在促进人们对于字幕翻译理论系统研究重要性的认知。如何出色的完成电影字幕翻译工作，对于推动电影产业的持续健康发展，促进文明的交流和合作，具有重大意义。
