The paper discusses the meanings and usages of ＂baai＂ through example sentences and analyzes how ＂baai＂ gains the usage of conditionals from the usage of the case, circumstance or occasion, and argues that the conditional usage of ＂Baai＂ derives from the usage of cases, circumstances or occasions.
