The historical and cultural context of the original writers of the historical documents and their writing objective has impact on translator＇s choice of translating strategies and the entire translation process. The translator＇s understanding process of the various historical and cultural contexts is also a preparation phase for translating historical documents, which will directly affect the implementation phase of translation.
