It has been gradually introduced into foreign language teaching in recent years., and has a lot of theories and practice prove that the role of it in foreign language learning. However, the feedback shows part of the practitioners feel nervous, some others feel shadowing is quite difficult and is not suitable for them. This paper tries to analyze the consciousness of Japanese students who are in the first stage of shadowing exercises and have never got any relative experiences. From the perspective of practitioners'repeat strategy, the paper tries to find the causes of the consciousness.
