Idiomatic expression possesses rich metaphorical meaning which is also the essence of Japanese idiomatic expression. Metaphor, metonymy synecdoche, etc in particular have always been the key points in the great amount of study of semantic cognition. They are not only a basic cognitive method, but also of great importance for man~s cognition of the world, the formation of concepts and the building of meanings.
