If efforts are solely made to master knowledge points, they are likely to be out of date upon the students" graduation, However, if the target of our education is to develop students' ability to solve problems through critical thinking, they will benefit for life. Therefore, the meth- ods of promoting the critical thinking of students who major in Business Japanese become an issue worth studying. This paper focuses on this theme and presents arguments related to it. At the same time, strategies of building an effective class teaching as well as improving students" critical thinking are also well presented in the paper.
