The schemata related to reading are generally classified into three types： formal schema, content schema and language schema. To apply schema theory to Japanese teaching, teachers need to help students obtain a complete idea of schema, activate their knowledge structure of schema, and comprehend the framework of a reading passage with the application of formal schema. |
