The entries included up to 40 thousand words, which is the highest record in Japan Manchu dictionary. This dictionary has an important reference value for the study of Manchu knowledge, the history of Qing dynasty and related studies. This Manch Dictiona- ry is not limited to Japanese researchers and the author hopes all the Manchu knowledge researchers a- round the world can use it. Though as a Japanese the author compiles the dictionary in Japanese transla- tion, the Japanese version is only used in Reference to Qing Literature and examples. The books such as Complete works of Qing Literature, Complete Works of Qing Dynasty, Qing Wen J ian , Tongwen Com- plete Works and Adapted Qing ZeZou Idioms only have original language without Japanese translation. If Japanese translation is put in, there is a great need for human labor and time. The completion of the dic- tionary is as expected.
