It exerted enormous influence through its population all over the country, which also resonated to the trend of the Xinmin Trend（cultivate new citizens） by reading novels. Through the adaptation of the original novel, Bao Tianxiao recommended a filial piety stem from love, which infused a new element into the traditional notion of filial piety for payment. Meanwhile, through the novel, Bao Tianxiao encouraged the youth in our country to learn the spirit of adventure, to explore the unknown world bravely and achieve self- development.
