Its purpose in classes is to train the students to acquire translation competence. Therefore, attention should be paid to the acquisition of students’ translation competence in the process of Japanese translation teaching reform. The acquisition of translation competence is a dynamic process going forward spirally from rudiments to professional skill knowledge.
